So We’re Talkin’ Hot Chicken?

Updated: Jul 30, 2020

'Make it Nash-ty'

Fried chicken is not something to be taken lightly in Dallas. I’ve searched just about everywhere for the perfect Nashville-Style Hot Chicken Sandwich, or in this case, Dallas-Style. Well ladies and gentleman, I finally found the answer in a brand new restaurant on the corner of Haskell and Crutcher, INVASION.

This isn’t any hot chicken sandwich… we’re talking about an eye-watering masterpiece here. Invasion spiced Buttermilk fried chicken tossed in Invasion hot sauce, topped with their homemade spiced sour cream ranch served on a buttery brioche bun.

Invasion owner and chef, Airric Heidelberg “Chefair” and his team turned the kitchen into a lab the past few weeks to find the perfect balance of heat and flavor. I am here to tell you firsthand that Invasion has done it.

Putting all taste aside, the best part about the sandwich is the name. The Invasion team came up with the idea to give their Instagram followers a chance to name their newest creation. ‘Make it Nash-ty’ took first place, fitting in perfectly with Invasion’s infamous “Cardi B” sandwich.

Rumor has it Chefair is turning the 'Make it Nash-ty' sandwich into a bowl, calling it 'Hottiana', available next week for a limited time only. Fried mashed potatoes, mozzarella cheese, homemade sour cream ranch, topped with their famous roasted corn, Invasion spiced Buttermilk hot chicken, fried peppers, jalapeños, and fresh parsley.

Get Guy Fieri on the phone, I know a place…
